Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by one of our trusted tour guides. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, relaxing after your flight and preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Nairobi
After breakfast, the day begins with a game drive in Nairobi National Park, the only wildlife park in the world located within a capital city. Expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more, all with Nairobi’s city skyline in the background. The cool morning temperatures make this an ideal time to observe wildlife activity.
Later in the morning, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to witness rescued orphaned elephants being cared for. Then proceed to the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to hand-feed endangered Rothschild giraffes. Enjoy lunch at Carnivore Grounds, a popular local spot known for authentic Kenyan “nyama choma” (roasted meat). Spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs at Kazuri Beads or head to the top of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) for panoramic views of Nairobi. Return to your hotel to relax for the evening.

Day 3: Journey to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, approximately a four-and-a-half-hour journey. Stop at Emali for lunch and refreshments before continuing to the lodge. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Optional bush dinner experiences are available, offering a unique way to experience the African wilderness.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli, famously known as the “Land of the Elephants.” Marvel at the large herds of elephants and look out for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species including flamingos and ostriches. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and Mount Kilimanjaro.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Amboseli Swamps or Observation Hill while surrounded by wildlife. Continue the afternoon game drive in search of predators and other animals, and conclude the day with a sunset over Mount Kilimanjaro — one of Africa’s most iconic sights.

Day 5: Cross into Tanzania – Cultural Visit in Mto wa Mbu
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your cross-border journey to Tanzania through the Namanga border. Continue toward the village of Mto wa Mbu and stop for lunch. Enjoy a cultural activity in this vibrant village known for its local markets and community life. Settle into your lodge and enjoy a warm dinner in a tranquil setting.

Day 6: Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Depart the lodge after breakfast and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into Serengeti National Park. Spend the day exploring the Central Serengeti, famed for its incredible wildlife and the annual Great Migration. Expect to see wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, elands, bat-eared foxes, and potentially the elusive black rhino.
The Serengeti is also a haven for big cats — lions, leopards, and cheetahs — often seen hunting or lounging under trees. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon to unwind.

Day 7: Northern Serengeti – Migration and River Crossings
After breakfast, venture into the Northern Serengeti for a full-day game drive in the area where the dramatic Great Migration and river crossings occur. Witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras braving the crocodile-infested waters while predators like lions and cheetahs lurk nearby.
The Northern Serengeti also offers stunning scenery and opportunities to see elephants, gazelles, and more. After an adventurous day, return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Experience
After breakfast and with a packed picnic lunch, head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is home to over 25,000 large mammals including lions, hippos, elephants, black rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, and more. Enjoy a breathtaking drive along the crater floor and take in the sheer density of wildlife. Return to your lodge in Karatu for the night.

Day 9: Travel Back to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, depart Tanzania and re-enter Kenya via the Namanga border. Continue the journey to Nairobi with stopovers along the way for lunch and refreshments. Arrive in the city later in the day and check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 10: Transfer to Maasai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive
Depart Nairobi after an early breakfast and drive to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in the afternoon. The Mara is home to the Big Five, spectacular landscapes, and the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration. Begin your first game drive in the afternoon, exploring the reserve’s rich wildlife and picturesque savannahs. Keep an eye out for big cats like lions and leopards as they become active in the cooler hours.

Day 11: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Spend a full day immersed in the wonders of the Maasai Mara. Early morning game drives offer the chance to witness predators on the hunt. Throughout the day, you’ll encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, and antelopes. Visit river areas and other prime wildlife locations, and if you’re lucky to travel during migration season, you may witness the dramatic river crossings and predator interactions. Return to camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, check out and depart Maasai Mara for your transfer back to Nairobi. Arrive in time for your onward journey or flight back home, marking the end of an unforgettable 12-day East African safari adventure.
