Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed city tour or visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Lake Victoria.

Overnight in Entebbe.

Day 2: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

Depart early from Entebbe/Kampala and head north.

Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot—your first Big Five sighting!

Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping to visit the dramatic top of the falls where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge.

Overnight at a lodge in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari in Murchison Falls

Early morning game drive on the northern bank of the park—expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hartebeest, and leopards.

Afternoon boat safari on the Nile River to the base of the falls—spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species.

Optional hike to the top of the falls.

Overnight at the same lodge.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest, known as the primate capital of the world.

Enjoy the lush green countryside, crater lakes, and tea plantations en route.

Overnight near Kibale Forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest—observe chimps in their natural habitat, along with other primates like red-tailed monkeys and L’Hoest’s monkeys.

After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a possible stop at the Equator.

Evening game drive en route to your lodge.

Overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains—look for lions, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and buffaloes.

Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Optional visit to local salt mines or community walk.

Overnight at the same lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha Sector

Early departure for Bwindi, driving through the Ishasha Sector known for its tree-climbing lions.

Game drive en route and picnic lunch.

Continue to Bwindi in time for dinner and briefing for the next day’s gorilla trek.

Overnight near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking – Return to Entebbe or Departure

Early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing.

Begin the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience, which can last 2 to 6 hours.

Spend one magical hour observing a gorilla family.

After trekking, drive or fly back to Entebbe (depending on your schedule) or connect with your outbound flight.
